The Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is now in its 20^th year of serving our community. As many of you have come to know, the St. Patrick's Day Parade of Lawrence is much more than a one day event. In addition to the fun, good old-fashioned parades, the Committee has provided more than $385,000.00 to local children’s charities. We have done this by hosting special fundraising events such as the annual Charity Auctions and 5K Shamrock Shuffle fun runs, as well as T-shirt sales and by the generous contributions of individuals and businesses who are our friends and neighbors. Now, we are kicking-off of our 2007 fundraising campaign. We do so with a committedness toward the enrichment of our community but success depends on you!

As always, we thank the many members of our community for their continuing support, for their contributions, donations, and participation throughout the years and we also thank this year's recipients for their hard work and dedication to our children. The Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is a not-for-profit 501 (c)3 organization that believes through fun and hard work we can make our community an even better place.

In the coming months, we ask everyone to please, contribute and be a part of the special activities that will be sponsored by the Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. We look forward to having everyone at the Celebrity Sports Auction on Saturday, March 3^rd, the 5K Shamrock Shuffle on Saturday, March 10^th, as well as all of the other fundraising events, and to show off their wee bit of Irish at the Parade on Saturday, March 17^th 2007.
